Margo Heath-Dupre is actively engaged with women's leadership development, biblical literacy, encouraging diligence to live as a child of God and practicing intentional Christian living.
As an educator, speaker, author, wife, and mother, she embraces the opportunity to share her commitment to Christian ministry through supporting Christian education helping other stay mindful of the teachings of Jesus. She teaches that Christian diligence is an intentional mindset and purposeful behavior that we as believers embrace because we love God.
She serves the Christian community through cross-cultural ministry embracing all peoples and their cultures. Margo has authored several articles, devotionals, and the book: Be Thou My Guide: A Bible Study on Trusting God, recommended by The Christian Librarian Association. She also has participated as one of 52 authors in a collaboration for writing: Words of Protection and Peace: A Devotional for Women.
Through in-person engagements and virtual group studies, she leads small women group sessions for those across the country. Margo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Detroit and a Master of Education degree from Concordia University - Portland Oregon.
Author Biography
I have a bachelor’s degree in art education from the University of Detroit-Mercy and a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction with a minor in Career and Technical Education from Concordia University – Portland, Oregon. I have been married thirty years to husband, Pastor Brian Dupre. Together, we have four young adults. I have served with my husband in college student ministry for the Lutheran Student Fellowship and nine years in cross-cultural ministry in West Texas. I have served in women’s ministry and written various biblical studies focused on women’s concerns. As a Christian school art teacher, I focused on integrating Christianity into the visual arts. I have produced curriculum designed for middle and high school students that directly support teaching Christian values and learning the impact of Christianity on modern culture. I have created presentations to support the work of the LWML in educating women about embracing diversity in the Christian church.
